Tron and Africa

Hi Everybody,
We hope you are doing well.  We're continuing on day by day trying to do the best we can in the office and in helping the young missionaries with discussions with investigators and hosting dinners in our apartment.  We continue to try to work with those who are less-active and try to encourage them, too.
Below are some of the senior missionaries with us as we went out on a short excursion.  We had plans to take them to walk across the Rainbow bridge at night as we have done that before from Odaiba but unfortunately the bridge was closed earlier than usual.

Chandlers, Orion and Judy Wood (area public affairs from Newark, CA), Tim and Betsy Ricks (area associate legal council from New York City, and Dave and Barbara Hansen (area medial advisor from Rexburg, ID via US Air Force)

However, we did get to see Tron again, and at night the lighting made it appear even more spectacular.

Tron changes colors and the children gathered around really liked it; the adults, too.

Fuji television building.  It is a 30 story building that is almost like a giant TV screen on one side where the windows all light up for different pictures and advertisements. Here's a car that somehow got up this steep ramp and is parked there.  Below the car is just says Drive Japan.  Maybe it has something to do with a very large Toyota showroom that is nearby.

The lights of the city and the Statue of Liberty (small version) were beautiful, too.

Here's Rainbow bridge , so named because the lights on the bridge change colors.  The Statue of Liberty is in the foreground, and the red and white tower in the back is Tokyo Tower, a famous landmark in Tokyo.

Surprise!  Just for fun we thought it would be fun to throw in some photos from Kenya where some of our friends from the Missionary Training Center, the Andersons, are now serving their mission. They are MLS (Member Leader Support) and they love their mission.  They've done everything from helping one woman to build a hut, visiting the members and helping them out, helping the missionaries there who are from Africa, and helping to strengthen the Church in all the ways they can in their area.

These photos are from a safari that they went on when their daughter came to visit.
Right 'out of Africa' wouldn't you say?
As the sun sets on the savanna, we bid you all a fond farewell and wish you a wonderful week wherever you are and in all that you do, too!
