Chrysanthemums at Shinjuku Koen

 Hello Everyone,
It's the Chrysanthemum festival time at Shinjuku Koen (Park) so we went to see it with our senior missionary group.

Almost as good as the cherry blossom festival, people were enjoying the beautiful weather and the beautiful Chrysanthemums.  You can just scroll through the photos and enjoy seeing some of what we enjoyed.

An artist's work in progress, he must be taking a break.

Remember these Chrysanthemums are each just one plant and they each only have one stem!

These, too, are only one plant and they only have one stem!

Here are some of the children that we saw and we talked to them and their parents.

Of course we had to stop with the group to have some Mizu soup with vegetables before we left the park.
As we were walking to the train station I had to get a photo of the gold-plated Rolls Royce that was passing by.  It is amazing how many expensive cars there are in Japan.  Elder Chandler insists that there are more expensive cars here than anywhere that he has ever seen, including cities like New York City and all the big cities in the U.S.  We haven't figure out why yet, either. Anyway,it was a great day to enjoy our Heavenly Father's beautiful creations.
By the way, we hope you had a Happy Halloween.  I just had to include the photo of these two little Japanese girls who had never carved a pumpkin before.  Do you think they are enjoying their first Jack-O-Lantern?  So sweet, don't you think?
We hope you all have a great week, everybody!
