Christmas Season!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  Below are some beautiful  Christmas lights in Tokyo.

Okay, so we haven't actually visited Tokyo Disneyland; we just stopped by it on the train a few times on the way to somewhere else, but it looks beautiful and exciting!

This is part of a 'wish' tree in Shinjuku where people write what they would like to receive for the New Year.

People don't usually have Christmas trees in their homes except a few have small artificial trees.  These would be considered large trees.  I think the main reason for this, besides being expensive, is that they simply don't have room for a Charistmas tree.

The Mitsukoshi department store in Ginza.

Yes,we're back to Disneyland, beautiful isn't it?

What do you think of this for Christmas lights?  Fuji-san (Mt. Fuji) in LED lights!

How's this for a great group that we had over for dinner? Sister Chandler from Utah, (Elder Chandler not shown from Idaho),Sarah from Maine, Rosa from Cuba, Ann from Thailand, Sister Harrison from Maryland, Meng from China, and Sister Ruplinger who is from Germany and the USA.  We talked about Christmas traditions and enjoyed hearing about Christmas in other parts of the world.  In China and Thailand they don't celebrate Christmas.  Ann and Meng talked about how New Years was the big event where they would get new clothes and red envelopes with money in them.  They remembered about when they hadn't known about Jesus Christ and they are happy that they now know the true meaning of Christmas.

Are you like me and just love Christmas music?  I think that the music is one of the best things about Christmas.  You can click on the link below an enjoy some beautiful Christmas music. People donated over 10,000 volunteer hours to make this Christmas music video!
