Our Christmas in Japan

A few select streets here have some beautiful Christmas lights

Our ward was so kind to send us "sunshine" for Christmas!  They sent wonderful cards from the children and adults, lemonade, highlighters, gum, etc, all in beautiful yellow.  We loved the bookmarks, too, from our grandchildren Cole, CJ, and Max!     THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!!!!!!

More sunshine: Christmas leis!

This might be a little in-congruent for a wall decoration but with a small space, we love it.  First, Jesus Christ, our Savior, whose birth we celebrate;  coupled with photos of some of our grandchildren, Nora, Amelia, Landon, and Aiden, and we know that Jesus loves the children.  Santa who represents the spirit of giving just as our Father in Heaven so loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son; may we always share  this love and gospel with all those we meet.

There are many thoughts about what a Christmas tree represents. With an angel on top, it might symbolize the angels who announced the birth of Christ.  A star on top, the new star that appeared a his birth.  An evergreen tree symbolizing rebirth as we may all be resurrected because of the great love and atonement of our Savior.  The lights representing the light of Christ that guides each one of us in our daily lives.

Everywhere in our apartment, we are reminded of our wonderful family!  Please have a chocolate, too!

We had a "heart attack" for Christmas.  We know we are loved by a secret someone(s)!

It's still amazing that the flowers can be so beautiful outside even at this time of year.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas Season

from the CHANDLERS!!!

By the way if you're in the mood for some beautiful Christmas music; here's a good link to the tabernacle choir.  You can download a bunch of free songs, too, if you would like.
