Sakura

It's cherry blossom time in Tokyo!  This is a very big deal here.  People go to the parks and set out their tarps and sit there during the day having lunch, walking around and viewing the cherry blossoms and just enjoying the season.  Everyone goes to see the blossoms.  Here are some of our photos from Saturday afternoons at Ueno Park and Shinjuku Gyoen Park.  We hope you enjoy this.  If you want to really get in the mood, go to the youtube music listed below which is "Sakura" (Cherry Blossoms) and listen to that while you check out the photos:

Of course the photos are nearly as beautiful as seeing it in person.

The Area Presidency asked us to attend this event Sunday afternoon at the United Nations University in Shibuya
International Red Cross Symposium with ambassadors and princess Takamado.  The Shoken Fund works with the International Red Cross in Humanitarian efforts. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is very good to support worthwhile humanitarian efforts throughout the world.
The University sponsored by the United Nations
P.S.  Don't forget to LDS General Conference this weekend.
